Head out to Rita's Seaside Grill on Saturday, January 26th, from 12 to 5 p.m. for the 3rd Annual Bo's Roast and Chili Cook Off benfiting Camp Happy Days.
For those of you planning to compete in the chili cook off, here's what you need to know:
Beginning at 1 p.m. the judges will start tasting each teams' chili to determine the "Judge's Choice" Award. The "People's Choice" Award will be determined from the amount of donations your team was able to collect as votes from 12 to 4 p.m. Awards will be announced at the conclusion of the event.
You will be responsible for preparing, heating and serving your best chili. Teams will need to supply all ingredients, cooking/heating devices, supplies and decoration. Chili may be prepared ahead of time. Additionally, you will be responsible for supplying your own serving cups, spoons, napkins, voting box/container and any other supplies you might need. Your team is also responsible for cleanup of your designated area at the conclusion of the event.
The registration free is $25 per team/individuals and $50 for restaurants. To register, email email@example.com.
For those of you just planning on eating, general admission tickets are $10 for adults (13 and up) or $20 for VIP access. VIP gets you all-you-can-drink, free samples of chili and $10 buckets of oysters from 1 to 5 p.m.
