Get a sneak peek at C of C's upcoming arts productions

The College of Charleston School of the Arts and the Charleston Concert Association will present a sneak preview of upcoming performances.

This hour-long event will feature music history professor Blake Stevens, music professors Robert Taylor and Natalia Khoma, and dance professors Gretchen McLaine and Robert Ivey. The lecture will highlight various, must-see arts events in the Charleston Concert Association and School of the Arts seasons, as well as give a brief history of the artists and performances.

Blake Stevens will present “The 5 Browns” (Five Pianos). Gretchen McLaine will reveal history about the “Paul Taylor Dance Company” and Robert Ivey will present the “Young American Grand Prix Ballet” and “Romeo and Juliet with the Russian National Ballet Theatre.” Robert Taylor will present the “Vienna Boy’s Choir” and “The King’s Singers” and Natalia Khoma will introduce the “German State Philharmonic with Philippe Entremont.”

The presentation will take place Tuesday, September 21st, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Simons Center for the Arts located at 54 Saint Philip Street. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
