Almost a year after ListenUp Myrtle Beach launched an overhauled look, the brand is expanding it's coverage in both content and media.
The heart and soul of ListenUp, Chris Mowder, has announced that ListenUp will operate under corporate parent Waccamaw Publishers. With this new arrangement, ListenUp will be distributed in print form through Waccamaw's existing publications. Another major change to the site will be a more broad coverage of local entertainment in addition to the continuing focus on locally produced music. It's always great to see locals turn their passion into something they can pursue on the clock. We not-so-secretly hope Chris can show them the power of a well designed website enough to get their other publications in a more online friendly format.
