Statehouse senators Tom Davis (R-Beaufort) and Vincent Sheheen (D-Kershaw) will be joined by a number of other academic experts for a panel discussion entitled: “South Carolina’s Constitution: Serving 21st Century Needs; or a 19th Century Relic?”
The discussion will be held at Magnolia Hall in Sun City from 12:30 to 1:30 on April 15. The panel event part of an all-day event.
Starting at 9:30 a.m. and running to 3:30 p.m., the day will include a keynote speech from Francis Marion University President Dr. Fred Carter, while a historical overview of the lowcountry will be offered by Dr. Rowland, Professor Emeritus at USCB.
